Rémy Martin cognac

I prefer the VSOP which is blended from spirits aged from 4 to 12 years. You really do need a top quality cognac for cocktails.

Here are all the cocktails that you can make with this ingredient:

Martini
Angel's Share
The easy citrus flavour of the Licor 43 works well with the cognac.
1 spoon Orange marmalade
2 shots Rémy Martin cognac
1/4 shot Cuaranta Y Tres (Licor 43)
1/2 shot Lemon juice
1/4 shot Sugar syrup
Garnish: Orange zest twist
Stir the marmalade with the cognac until the marmalade dissolves, add the other ingredients, shake and fine strain into chilled glass.

Old-fashioned
Call Me Old-fashioned
A variation on the old-fashioned that works almost as well.
2 shots Rémy Martin cognac
1/4 shot Sugar syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Garnish: Orange zest twist
Add one shot of cognac to the glass with two ice cubes. Stir with a bar spoon, then add the sugar syrup and bitters and two more ice cubes and stir some more. Add another shot of cognac and two more ice cubes and stir some more.
